Perhaps we, like Abraham, have come to ask ourselves at times where is God’s favor? Just because we can’t find God’s favor in our lives doesn’t mean we have permission to stop following Him. How can we find God’s favor and give ourselves permission to keep going on in faith?

Disappointment arises when our expectations of calling don’t materialize. Come face disappointment with courage to live out your calling one day at a time.
Discouragement. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, to be discouraged is to be “deprived of courage or confidence1.” It’s only fitting that we address this topic in a series on courage and confidence in our callings. If we don’t have either, we end up wallowing and worrying about our worth.
You’re not alone if you’re facing discouragement today. When discouraged, our hearts may feel void of courage or hope. But as believers we have the promise of hope to hold onto as we seek encouragement from God for our discouraging circumstances.
