My hope for this Lenten season is that you find yourself drawing closer to God, sitting with Jesus longer than you did before, worshiping just a little longer than you used to, and maybe even knowing or understanding a bit more Scripture than you did before you started this journey.
The Lent season is almost upon us, and some of you may already know what that is, but some of you may not. So I wanted to take time out of the schedule this week to go over this practice and let you in on what Lent is and why I still observe it as a Christian believer.
